ENG. The May 4th competition is back for 2025 and is now open to all LightWave 3D users.
Entries are open until the closing date of 4 July 2025. Entries close at 23:59 (BST).
The competition has one general category: Sci-Fi & Space, so think spaceships, alien planets and anything from a galaxy far away.
Create a Sci-Fi & Space themed entry using LightWave3D®. This can be any scene, the choice is yours. The entry must be a still image or a 3D rendered animation. The environment must be rendered in 3D; HDRI for sky/lighting and textures is permitted.
The entry must not have been previously published, either online or offline. It must be original artwork created by you specifically for the challenge (not existing designs, stock models or concepts created by other artists). You can submit more than one work.
You must include the Lightwave logo in your project.
ITA. Il concorso “4 Maggio” torna per il 2025 ed è ora aperto a tutti gli utenti di LightWave 3D.
È possibile inviare le proprie opere fino alla data di chiusura del 4 luglio 2025. Le iscrizioni si chiudono alle 23:59 (BST).
Il concorso prevede una categoria generale: Fantascienza e Spazio, quindi pensate a navicelle spaziali, pianeti alieni e tutto ciò che si trova in una galassia lontana.
Create un’opera a tema Fantascienza e Spazio utilizzando LightWave3D®. Può trattarsi di qualsiasi scena, la scelta è vostra. L’opera deve essere un’immagine fissa o un’animazione renderizzata in 3D. L’ambiente deve essere realizzato in 3D; è consentito l’uso di HDRI per cielo/illuminazione e texture.
L’opera non deve essere stata precedentemente pubblicata, né online né offline. Deve essere un’opera d’arte originale creata da voi appositamente per la sfida (non progetti esistenti, modelli di repertorio o concept realizzati da altri artisti). Puoi inviare più di un’opera.
Bisogna incluedere il logo Lightwave nel progetto.
